GO BE A GOOD PERSON AND START ADDING/EDITING PAGES! I CAN'T HANDLE WRITING AN ENTIRE WIKI WHILE WORKING ON THE GAME SO YOUR HELP IS NOT ONLY DESIRED BUT REQUIRED!
Actually, no. How good is your PC, and in what operating system does it run? These processes are one of the heaviest in the game. But none reported an actual bug with them.
If you leave the game running, does it resume after a while? I noticed the lag greatly reduces after the first instance of the event occurs. Try leaving it on.
Windows 7 (64 bit) on a Lenovo ThinkPad W520. I'm going to try leaving my laptop on overnight with an enemy that should be dead, and see if that helps.
No error message? I don't really know how to fix it then. That event is indeed a costly process to the PC the first time it happens. No scripts modified it so I don't think I can reduce the CPU usage any more.
I guess... You'll just have to get a better PC... Sorry.
Or maybe you could increase the process' priority in the Task manager. Set it to high or real time if you're feeling lucky. Close all programs running in the background and try again. That might make it work. Test to see if you can turn everything back to normal after the first instance of the event occurs.
Not sure where to ask this, but my game freezes whenever I would kill an enemy, get a game over screen, or try to fap on the bed. Any idea why?
