Not 1 but 3 updates this week!

This week's update was commissioned to the other devs, and because we have not only Gimpel but another contributor working on the game at the same time, not only we'll get the pool's winner done, but also 2 other additions this contributor offered himself to do: The Jew character and the Pooh's Homerun Derby.

Expect a massive update this week.

THIS WEEK'S DEMO AND THREAD ARE UP!

Changelog:
-Autism Land section finished with a STEALTH MISSION.
-Lots of nice options added to the bugfixin' dude.
-Tileset bugs fixed!
-Couple new weapons added.
-The Red Chest with all items in the beginning is now the BOX OF SHAME.
-The lantern's cone of light is now much bigger.
-Adjusted light sources's fuel price.
-Changed Chief Arino's first name to Arino and his class to Kachou. It'll be better.
-Narumi Naruto the ninja cyborg is now digitally voiced!

I'M LATE AND LAZY

Changelog:

-Half finished the Autists Land section.
-Ring of Death, 4 Strength 4 Stam Leather Belt added to the game and put in the red chest in the beginning.
-All enemies now have different attack attributes (Slashing, Piercing and Smashing)
-Enhanced Caterpillar Party system. This also made some events better.

Maps almost made.

Almost finished almost all maps that will be used for the Autism Land section. Most vents are still missing though. You can enter. At least.

Have a flyer I designed to be in-game.


Some small tech enhancements.

I was doing some research in scripts I could implement and modify and found some pretty interesting ones. The Party's catterpillar system was improved and some events will now handle better (Currently only the small cutscene before Sir Daniel's dungeon boss).

I was also going through the long Ideas notepad, and found some interesting suggestions. Get ready for new shiny options in the next update pool.

First steps to Autism Land.

Finished Ikazo's special Hedgehog form (including the item that transforms him and a face), and his new "colleage", because he doesn't work for and neither is a friend of anyone.

 

Still have to work on the actual maps and quests. Stay Tuned.

Added a couple of new items too, and made every enemy have a different attack attribute.

Sorry for being late. But this big update will hopefully make up for it.

Changelog:


-Added playtime to the menu.
-Lots of bug fixes.
-Added the >Implycer, the >implying spear from Vlad the Implier. Can only be get on the red chest in the beginning.
-Many changes regarding the gender swap potion. Including altering stats.
-Dunsparce enemy added, it appears as a rare and exp rewarding encounter in Forest areas.
-Updated Dorf Fort section's tileset. Added many new quests to it, dungeons floors, a story, boss and more!
-Skeleton Girl Patella half-implemented.
-Katia Managan from Prequel is now a recruitable party member. (Get her at the skeleton's sewer)
-A fancy new couple of random events in Skeletown revolving around maids.
-Added the Bugfixin' Dude.
-Bumby catcher added to the max lvl of the shop.

Made a ton of edits on Noill's sprite for the Skeleton girl and on the face someone else did some time ago, it filled an entire faceset.



Already got back in contact with her voice actress and I'm currently writing her lines.

Katia is ready and Dorf Fort is commissioned!

Today I finished Kati's sprite, look how cute she looks! This is the hardest sprite I've ever did, by the way.






Yes, people pointed out the extra pair of ears and I instantly fixed it. I knew something was off. I'm ashamed.


And, I've left the other dev in charge of the dof fort expansion. Expect mining goodness.

Today I did many small things.

Updated the dwarf fortress tileset to the superior Myne's. It had to be streched but it doesn't look bad.

Also I drew MOBAS, the three headed ASSFAGGOTS orc, and got someone to voice him.

Did you notice that I also added the playtime to the menu?

Okay, I did add something

I prettied up the desert area a bit (Where you find Arino).

Also, I made it so all enterable tiles in the World map have a marker so that you guys can know it is. This is because sometimes towns and houses will be used as decoration and I don't want you guys to waste your time trying to enter all of them.

The secret are is not marked, though.

Finished including the Arino character.

Yesterday I just finished the Arino character section 100%.

It's just a matter of find and meet to recruit him, but the explanation as to why he's in the game is the best I could come up with. It's a pretty shallow update this week, I know. This week was just inbetween the end of my vacation and going back to university, not much time available. But I'll see what else I can add before I upload it.

Started with the basics for the creation of the Arino character.

Made a full faceset, drew the walking sprite, collected quotes and came up with his role: below average everything, low hit chance but incredibly high HP, MP and endurance.

If I overdrive I might even make the exclusive skill "Arino no Chousen!", which on plan sounds awesome.

Will probably include a Medicinal Sticker Strip as an equip too.
